There are places where the living world feels especially alive. A lone hawthorn standing quietly at the edge of an old field. A moss-covered stone beneath an ancient oak. For generations, these liminal places are regarded as sacred thresholds—where the worlds draw close and the presence of the Otherworld may be felt. The Green Threshold candles were created to honor those sacred places.

Handcrafted from pure 100% beeswax and cotton wick, there is no scent added other then the scent of the ground herbs and flowers. I lovingly hand pour each taper candle and hand roll and dress each one with finely ground plant allies prepared by hand using my mortar and pestle with hawthorn leaf and flower, cowslip, lavender, and rose. This creates a beautiful offering inspired by the ancient relationship between the plants, the land, and the unseen world.

These candle are intended as a ritual companions—an invitation to slow down, listen deeply, and cultivate a deep and sacred relationship with the Faery Realm, the spirits of place, and the wisdom carried by the Earth itself.

    Every flame tells its own story

    Because The Green Threshold candles are handcrafted from pure beeswax and lovingly dressed with whole botanical allies, every burn is beautifully unique.

    As the candle melts, the beeswax may naturally drip and pool, creating organic patterns that many  observe as part of the ancient art of ceromancy—the practice of reflecting upon the shapes, movement, and symbolism revealed through candle wax and flame. Rather than seeking fixed answers, allow whatever emerges to become another invitation for contemplation, intuition, and dialogue with your own inner wisdom.

    For the safest and most beautiful experience, always burn your candle in a heat-safe dish or candle holder large enough to catch the flowing beeswax.

    Because each candle contains real herbs and flowers, the flame may occasionally become taller, livelier, or produce small bursts as the botanicals are consumed. This is a natural part of burning a handcrafted botanical candle.

    Never leave a burning candle unattended, and always keep it away from drafts, children, pets, and anything flammable. Trim the wick as needed and allow the flame to burn with care and respect.
